In 2003 Jesper Laustrup Nielsen (later know as Kasi Jesper) was living anonymously as a manager at several gas stations and supermarkets in west Copenhagen (Brøndby).

Inspired by a friend, he decided to try his luck in the German jewelry market.

The following years he drove through Germany in his family’s Opel making sales while his mother and sister handled the business’ accounting back in Brøndby. The Nielsen family created a business out of reselling jewelry from Italian jewelers Vero Firenze, but the business’ big breakthrough came later in 2005…
